RSK Group Limited (RSK), a leading integrated environmental, engineering and technical services business, announces the addition of Australian advisory and project delivery services firm SJA to its thriving business portfolio. The deal marks the second acquisition in six months for rapidly growing RSK Australia, which recently acquired New South Wales-based civil engineering firm Western Project Services. The acquisition of SJA provides RSK Group with wider access to large construction and infrastructure projects across Australia, and enhanced opportunities to expand in the Asia Pacific region.

“We are delighted to have SJA join our robust and diverse family of businesses. RSK’s investment in the growth of SJA will allow both companies to leverage each other’s talents and expertise towards a shared commitment to developing environmentally and socially sustainable solutions to challenging problems. As businesses that are both people-first, we take pride in the way we support our people and encourage entrepreneurialism and innovation towards further growth and expansion in the region,” said Alan Ryder, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of RSK.

“Having SJA as part of RSK Australia enables us to build a market leading multi-disciplinary project advisory and delivery offering across Australia and New Zealand. Together, SJA and RSK Australia will be better positioned to provide services for major multi-billion-dollar projects across the region through collaboration and knowledge sharing. Apart from enabling further penetration of the infrastructure sector, SJA also provides opportunities for RSK into our other key sectors in the construction industry such as commercial property, healthcare and education,” added Mark Haydock, Director of RSK Australia.
