TASTE FRANCE & VIN DE FRANCE BRING THE FRENCH ART OF LIVING TO SYDNEY THIS BASTILLE DAY
This Bastille Day, Taste France is returning to Sydney — and this year, it’s bringing the wine. From 16 to 19 July, Taste France and Vin De France will take over East Circular Quay for Bastille Festival 2026, the country’s biggest celebration of French food, wine, and art, drawing more than 600,000 visitors across four sun-soaked days just steps from the Opera House.
The highlight? A dedicated Vin De France wine bar at East Circular Quay — an immersive space where curious wine lovers can sip, learn, and discover the extraordinary range of French varietals, all in one harbour-view setting. Guided tastings, a retail space stocked by LiquorLand with festival-priced bottles, and three ticketed masterclasses running daily make this the most delicious reason to visit the festival.

France in a Glass
At the heart of the Taste France activation is Vin De France, France’s most creative and diverse wine designation. Vin De France – VDF gives winemakers the freedom to blend the finest grapes from every corner of the country – from the sun-drenched south to the cooler northern regions – producing honest, expressive wines made to bring people together. Think vibrant French Chardonnay, fruit-forward Pinot Noir from France, crisp French Sauvignon Blanc, bold Syrah (Shiraz) from France, and so much more: all bottled with one guiding philosophy – Share the Joy of Life.
The Vin De France Tasting Bar will be open daily from 11am to 10pm in the heart of the French Village, offering guests a 20-minute guided tasting experience across a selection of curated wine flights. Choose from a White Flight, Red Flight, or Top 5 Selection flight, each featuring five wines at $15 per person. Available to book online or on a walk-in, first come, first served basis.
The full range of Vin De France Wines can be found at LiquorLand stores nationally – but the festival is offering special prices and offers across labels including La Belle Angele, Tussock Jumper, Louis de Camponac, Vincent Gerard, Roc de l’Abbaye, La Java Rouge and La Petite Perriere.

Three Masterclasses. One Unforgettable Weekend.
Hosted inside the Taste France wine bar and running daily across all four festival days, each ticketed masterclass is designed to be accessible, fun, and genuinely eye-opening– no wine experience required.
