You live it every day whether it is on TV, newspaper or social media. Just think how they put a spin on stories to psychologically shape the perception, emotions or takeaway the audience  will be left with. To cloud the audience’s view and prevent them from getting a precise take on the actual happening. It is also called a divide and conquer tactic and can be achieved by:

About Us – by the Custodian Axel Ritenis

Why we need the Sydney Times

Welcome to www.mysdneytimes.com

The Sydney Times’s is designed to be the “the Voice of the People” and a top platform for “citizen journalism” in a new Media Landscape where there is a complete distrust of the Mainstream media and the Capitalist Publishing Business model

Just recently we have seen a former Australian PM submit a Petition to the Federal parliament calling for a Royal Commission into the Murdoch Media.due to mainstream publications using manipulative presentation of News and information tainted with Political Bias.

The problem with Mainstream media is it presents News with its own bias and political agenda and seeks to influence the Reader. It presents Views NOT News!

It is very clear that the Sydney Community with its distrust of Media proprietors and companies such as Fairfax Nine readers no longer trust the likes of Rupert Murdoch or the Fairfax Nine conglomerate. Which is why many Millennial’s and the educated middle and social elite are increasingly turning to other Media such as The Guardian, The Conversation,..Crickey and a host of overseas Media sites including the NY Times.

Serving Sydney as. NFP style organization.

We love to provide the Sydney Community with News and Informationa. And become a Community Noticeboard.

History of the Trademark Earlier Publication.

Sydney Times is the brainchild of Aksel Ritenis and others, who have teamed up to disrupt traditional journalism in Australia by providing citizens with a platform providing Unbiased Content,,..News releases and aggregated Overseas content form reliable sources.

We want to take the Bias and tendentious reporting out of the the news by encouraging citizen journalism via crowdsourced content and finance ,…to be delivered through “Discount Priced Advertising & Publicity

Necessity is the mother of invention The Sydney Times project commenced  this journey when Aksel managed to register the Sydney Times Trademark ,..from the IP Australia ,.which would act as a good foundation on which to build a news and Advertising Platform that serves the People of Sydney and NSW ,…in stark contrast with the conventional business models.

No rivers of Gold at the Sydney Times

Where a wealthy Publisher taps into an Advertising revenue stream e.g. Fairfax and the Rivers of Gold advertising revenue from Real Estate and Property advertising and engages a gang of Cronies to write and deliver his Political agenda. As in the case of “Rupert Murdoch and his Cronies and Flunkies”. At present there is a serious lack ofk of space for honest and idealistic young writers to vent their viess and opinions in the media.

“I once tried to get published in a newspaper in Australia. I realized how hard it can be to get published unless you conform with the Editorial policies of the mainstram press ,..except in a haphazard way on soical media like Facebook or Twitter. Whcih has significantly undermined the authority and hold of the mainstream to control our opinions and thougts.

This problem was an initial trigger that ignited the idea of Aksel. “It made me think about how publishing works in Sydney and the west generally, And if there is an opportunity to create a new model based on citizen journalism and user-generated content in Australia.” It took a couple of months of research and due diligence before Aksel decided to launch Parhlo.com in 2017 with the intent to grow Sydney’s online ecosystem bu adding diverse news sources ,

The ST angle is leadership strongly believes that the right to be published should not be restricted to a certain social class who migh represent dominant social ad political values of the property-owning classes. The Developers who now effectively control the NSW political system.

“The internet has disrupted the dynamics of the publishing industry. Today anyone can write and publish online without requiring permission or having a specific educational qualification. I call it the democratization of the publishing world. As long as the content is relevant, online writers can generate an engaging audience.”

We believe that there is an opportunity to create a volunteer and socially based publishing brand in Sydney by non-cynical well educated and idealistic writers who have not been corrupted or tainted by experience in l mainstream money making publications.

Today, we expect that around 50% of the content published on SydneyTimes.net.au .com will be written by our in-house team and the Remaining content is to be generated via independent contributors Bloggers/Freelancers from all over Australia and abroad.

We also have advance plans to aggregate overseas content from Sister publications overseas, that present the News NOT Views from overseas.

ASydney Times is potentially is read by millions of Australians and our aim is to have it ranked as one of the top publishing websites in Australia -with your help!

“We are in the truest sense a platform for aspiring writers to showcase their work and write about topics that they feel passionate about. It also shows that Australain youth consists of avid readers and writers and that is the hallmark of a bright generation.

With a dynamic and diverse team, Aksel hopes to Guide the ST into becoming a neutral platform and will continue to align with its original goals. The ST content and social media team is led byaksel as the Custodian of the project, and we are developing a team to create engaging content for Sydney and NSW audiences/READERS.

“We don’t take sides on political topics. Rather we initiate debates based on our published content. Never before has traditional media in Australia been able to do what we have achieved in terms of generating healthy discussions amongst millions of AUSTRALIANS every day.T

Today, SYDNEYTIMES .NET.AU has a small   presence across the web and our content is read and viewed by more than 10,000 internet users every month.  Now if you want to be a part of this journey /experience and become a Contributor . Blogger,…or fellow writers, Feel free to use this platform to express yourself and we will present your point of view to our growing audience in Sydney and NSW
