Munich Brauhaus celebrates Christmas in July with a month of fun, festivities, and feasting

Dig out your Christmas jumper, tune up your yodelling and stein holding skills and head to Munich Brauhaus for month-long, German-inspired, Christmas in July celebrations for the whole family.

The group-centric, family-friendly, buzzing beerhalls located in The Rocks, Sydney and South Wharf in Melbourne are hosting winter wonderland themed festivities, feasting and fun activities from Monday 3rd July until Sunday 30th July.

If signature loaded platters and plates of hearty Bavarian classic dishes such as pork knuckle, schnitzel, and sausages, don’t warm you up this winter, a turbocharged schedule of snow machine fuelled winter parties, German-themed games and competitions, visits from Santa Claus every Sunday, and DJs every Friday and Saturday are certain to do so. Traditional festive drinks and treats, including mulled wine, hot chocolate and candyfloss, are available all month.

Both venues will be decked out in an Après Ski theme from Monday 3rd July to Sunday 9th July. Join the Après Ski party on Friday 7th July, with Jägermeister ski shots, ahead of a weekend of rumbunctious revelry and games, such as stein holding and yodelling competitions.

Santa Clause will visit each venue every Sunday from 12pm-3pm, with a present hunt for the kids.

Diners are dared to don their ugliest Christmas jumper when visiting either venue from Monday 10th July to Sunday 16th July, with the wearer of the gaudiest sweater in each venue awarded a $250 voucher on Saturday 15th July. There are more German games, DJs, and snow machines at each location on Friday and Saturday. Munich Brauhaus Melbourne hosts an evening of Christmas themed trivia on Friday 13th July.

From Monday 17th July to Friday 21st July there will be a Christmas market theme at each venue, including oompah bands, snow machines and treats such as traditional gluhwein (mulled wine), feuerzangenbowle (a type of flaming German punch), and lip-smackingly sweet, candied apples.

The fun and games, festivity and feasting will be amped up at each location on Saturday 29th July for Christmas in July closing parties.

Perfect destinations for group parties and special occasions the large and loud beerhalls are expected to fill up fast for these mid-winter festivities and bookings are recom
