Korea takes centre stage in Sydney, with a weekend of culture, food and K-POP at Darling Harbour

Sydney will tap into the soul of Korea this weekend, as the annual Korean Festival arrives at Darling Harbour this Saturday and Sunday (28 & 29 March), with two days of K-POP, Korean street food and live performances.
At the centre of the program is K-POP, now established as a global cultural force with a strong following in Sydney. The weekend reflects influence, alongside traditional music, games, and Korean street food.\
- K-POP World Competition: Twenty-four crews will go head-to-head in a high-intensity showdown, delivering sharp choreography, precision and stage presence. The top team will be crowned at 6:40pm – 6:50pm on Sunday
- Korean Cultural Performances: Live performances throughout the weekend will spotlight Korea’s rich traditions
- HARMONIZE Performance: The renowned, world‑champion Korean show choir will deliver a spectacular live performance.
- Traditional Korean Games: Guests of all ages can get involved in friendly traditional Korean games
- Delicious Korean Street Food: Award-winning Korean food vendors will be serving up delicious eats all weekend!
Korean Festival is part of Darling Harbour’s Culture Alive Festivals series for 2026. Running from March to May at Tumbalong Park, these vibrant free events are a unique opportunity to connect with global cultures right here in Sydney.
