Drawing inspiration from Italy, their philiosphy is to create regular changing of menu of special dishes based on “traditional family recipes and adaptations of contemporary classic dishes” all utilising the freshest quality produce from the Providores adjacent.

The restaurant also houses an impressive wood fired pizza oven manned by two Italian Pizzaiolos producing what Sydney Magazine has called ‘One of Sydney’s top ten Pizzas’.

Their antipasto platters are always a good starting point to share with a chilled glass of Italian Pinot Grigio! Incidentally You can BYO with a $4 per person corkage. Iff You choose the fried Zucchini and Calamari (which comes on a board) my usual dish,.. you won’t be disappointed!
On the Antipasta and Formaggio front,..the natural advantage is the great range of providore foods out the back!
The Cheese room must be one of the best in Sydney!
The Calamari Fritti,.. which half the restaurant had ordered last time I was there,.. must be the house favourite – It is very good!. Service is very Italian and a great atmosphere.
I for one have enjoyed the food and the fabulous Pizza and the restaurant menu with its Daily specials created by Flavio the Head Chef who works his culinary magic,… drawing inspiration from his homeland of Sardinia and living in London.
Incidentally You can enjoy a memorable Italian style food and produce experience by taking part in one of the in-store “Degustation Journey of Italy events. “
You can experience the gastronomic highlights of some of Italy’s most famous food regions.
A reasonable wine list at good pnot extravagant prices ensures the locals attend are relaxed and convivial at all times !,…good coffee and Dolce too.
