Celebrate the Community: ANZAC Day at The Dry Dock Hotel
Publicity Post 12 April,2026
This April 25th, The Dry Dock invites the Balmain community to gather, reflect, and pay tribute to the brave servicemen and women who have shaped our nation. As the bugle sounds and the suburb stirs, our doors will be open to provide a warm, welcoming space for locals to commemorate ANZAC Day in the heart of the peninsula.
A Morning of Tradition
Following the local Dawn Service, join us for a morning rooted in shared history and classic Aussie hospitality. We believe some traditions are best kept simple, which is why we’re leaning into the flavors of home.
-
Freshly Baked ANZAC Biscuits: Golden, crunchy, and syrupy—just the way they should be.
-
The Ultimate Sausage Rolls: Our kitchen is prepping batches of flaky, savory sausage rolls, the perfect hearty snack to fuel a day of remembrance.
Raising a Glass
Whether you’re catching up with old mates or making new ones, the atmosphere at The Dry Dock will be one of solemn respect followed by the unique camaraderie that defines this day. Grab a cold pint, find a spot in our sun-drenched courtyard or the cozy front bar, and settle in for an afternoon of storytelling and community spirit.”ANZAC Day at The Dry Dock isn’t just about the date on the calendar; it’s about the people of Balmain coming together to ensure these stories are never forgotten.”
