ARC’TERYX OPENS ITS LARGEST STORE IN THE SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE IN SYDNEY’S QUEEN VICTORIA BUILDING (QVB)
Publicity release Posted Friday 22 May,2026
New three-level flagship marks the arrival of Australia’s first Arc’teryx Alpha Store Sydney, Australia, May 2026 – Arc’teryx will officially open its largest store in the Southern Hemisphere on Friday 22 May within Sydney’s Queen Victoria Building (QVB), unveiling a new three-level flagship that marks a significant milestone for the brand in Australia and New Zealand.
Occupying the largest apparel-based retail space within the QVB, the new flagship introduces Australia’s first Arc’teryx Alpha Store, a global concept designed to bring together the brand’s
full expression across product, innovation, community and immersive brand experience.
Located in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, the QVB flagship will house the most extensive range of Arc’teryx apparel and equipment in Australia, spanning trail running, hiking, climbing, snow
sports and everyday technical apparel, alongside footwear, accessories and packs.

Australia’s Largest Veilance Retail Environment
The flagship will also introduce the largest dedicated Australian retail space for Veilance, Arc’teryx’s elevated apparel line that combines minimalist design, refined construction and
technical performance for everyday urban environments.
An Immersive Brand Experience
Rather than a traditional retail environment, the QVB flagship has been designed as an immersive brand and community space, bringing together technical product, education,
craftsmanship and mountain culture within one destination.
Designed in dialogue with both the historic architecture of the QVB and Arc’teryx’s mountain origins, the space combines natural materials, technical detailing and expansive spatial design
across all three levels.
ReBIRDTM Service Centre
The flagship will also feature a dedicated ReBIRDTM Service Centre, Arc’teryx’s platform for circularity focused on extending the life of products and keeping gear in play for as long as
possible. Designed to help products continue performing at their best beyond a single season or user, ReBIRDTM brings together a range of services centred around garment care, repair and
long-term product performance.

Key services include:
● Wash – technical cleaning and reproofing designed to restore performance and refresh technical materials including GORE-TEX® and down insulation.
● Repair – repairing wear and tear to help return products to optimal performance condition and extend their lifespan with industry leading technology.
● Product Care & Assessment – helping guests better understand how to maintain and care for technical product over time.
The inclusion of ReBIRDTM within the QVB flagship reflects Arc’teryx’s long-standing focus on durability, craftsmanship and responsible product design, reinforcing the belief that the best
products are not only built to perform, but built to last.
A New Chapter for Arc’teryx in Australia, Designed Around Product, Craftsmanship and Community

“Opening our largest store in the Southern Hemisphere here in Sydney is an important moment for Arc’teryx,” said Bianca Bernardi, Arc’teryx ANZ Country Director.
“What’s exciting about the growth of Arc’teryx is that it has come from a genuine connection to the brand DNA, technical innovation, craftsmanship, design integrity and mountain culture.
This store is our most complete expression of that philosophy in Australia to date. We wanted to create a space that feels immersive and experiential, somewhere people can
engage more deeply with the product, the design philosophy of the brand, and the broader Arc’teryx community.”
