Massive Pro-Palestine Demonstration disrupts Sunday shopping in Sydney
-Huge Anti -Israel Demonstrations continue and disruptions to Sunday shopping in Sydney Market St.
“While you’re shopping, bombs are dropping” chant demonstrators as Palestine Protests enter 23rd week.
March 17 saw the twenty-third week of protests organized by the Palestine Action Group in the Sydney CBD. The protesters called on the Albanese government to end all their ties to Israel and condemned the time it took the government to restore UNRWA funding. The number of casualties in Gaza has surpassed 30,000 since the most recent Israeli invasion.
The Palestine Action group and the Free Gaza Australia – are grassroots solidarity movement of different campaigns and activists across the world who are working together to end the illegal and inhumane Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip. With the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza and the increased violence against all Palestinians living under Israeli oppression and occupation.
Sunday the 17th march was the latest in these Mass Anti-Israel Demo’s demonstrations that require dozens of off duty NSW police to be rostered on and costing NSW taxpayers millions of dollars such that the NSW Government has placed limits on the continuation of such Demos.
