After the success of the Christmas edition of Bastille Festival in December 2021 and the Christmas in July Festival, the team has decided to come back. This time, with a reloaded version adapting the event into a fully-fledged Christmas market running over 6 enchanting nights.

Enjoy a night out with a chic and French-inspired celebration of Christmas in the heart of the city. Authentic wood huts, lights, candles, snow falling, jazz music, and all the magic you expect to experience a white Christmas…

INDULGE YOURSELF WITH FOOD: SWEET OR SAVOURY, EVERYONE WILL FIND THEIR GROOVE
Food is one of the essential components of a successful holiday season, that is why Le Jolly Market wanted to make sure that they brought a unique food offering from different countries: Fondue, cheese, crêpes, macarons, and Crème brûlée from France, Portuguese tarts, ice-cream from Italy, and much more.

Discover the cheese fondue in a Cobb with Emmental, Comté, Beaufort and white wine, coming directly from the French alps and indulge on some fresh oysters with Champagne sauce. Also, you can try Pistou’s authentic French double smoked sausages served with onion confit and seasonal pickles.

Go French this summer and try the traditional snails filled with plenty of garlic butter sauce from The Escargots Brothers. And from the Brittany region in France, arrives the crêpes: try savoury with ham and cheese, or sweet with Nutella or lemon whilst pairing with Sydney’s finest brewery cider.

 

Finally, for the sweet tooth, homemade macaron directly from Melbourne at Macaron de Paris is offered. Also, Carnival Gelato will be presenting 100% Italian ice cream.

 

WEATHER FORECAST: SNOW EXPECTED THIS SUMMER!
Each night at 8pm, in front of the giant Christmas tree, listen to classic Christmas jazz music (with some tunes in French), sing, dance under the snow falling, find the perfect Christmas presents or delight yourself with fresh oysters paired with Champagne.
