SYDNEY COMEDY FESTIVAL -FULL 2023 PROGRAM

Sydney Comedy Festival is thrilled to announce its biggest program since pre-COVID, serving a line up of the very best international, Australian and local comedians on stages across Sydney from 24th April to 21st May 2023.

2023 marks the return of some of the world’s best international talent, including Joe Lycett (UK), Sara Pascoe (UK), Daniel Sloss (SCO), Larry Dean (SCO), Paul Foot (UK), Ismo (FIN), Guy Montgomery (NZ), Jason Leong (MYS), Nemr (LBN) and Schalk Bezuidenhout (RSA).

A host of Australia’s biggest comedy legends are also set to present new, side-splitting shows including Kitty Flanagan, Luke Heggie, The Bear Pack, Chris Ryan, Geraldine Hickey, Peter Helliar and Dave Hughes. Plus, Australian favourite Osher Gunsberg presents his satirical news show, Night Time News Network National News, and Taskmaster Australia treasure Nina Oyama brings We Should Hang Out to the Factory Theatre.

In a Sydney Comedy Festival exclusive, the hilarious Becky Lucas brings her new show Staring Into Space to the Comedy Store, and last year’s Festival Award Winners Gabbi Bolt (Best Newcomer), Cameron James (Director’s Choice), Wil Anderson (Best of the Fest) and Rhys Nicholson (Best of the Fest) all return with brilliant performances, with something for everyone from original musical comedy to sensational stand- up sets.

The Festival will kick off in superb style with the much-loved Sydney Comedy Festival Galas at the Enmore Theatre on 24th April, the Pavilion Performing Arts Centre (Sutherland), The Concourse (Chatswood) and Sydney Opera House on 25th April and Riverside Theatres (Parramatta) and again at The Enmore on 26th April. The Galas will feature a dazzling line-up of the Festival’s funniest international stars, Australian legends and next-big-things in comedy, all for one huge night of laughter.

“I find myself returning to the names in the 2023 program and smiling in anticipation for what is about to hit Sydney. Following what has been a dark and dreary couple of years, we come skipping along to 2023 promising nothing more than unbridled hilarity!” said Sydney Comedy Festival Director Jorge Menidis.

Tickets are on sale now via the Sydney Comedy Festival website, and the full line-up of comedians performing at 2023 Sydney Comedy Festival can be found here.
