Following the success of last year’s event, PARAVASIS returns with an outstanding lineup of Greek Australian comedic talent led by the brilliant Anthony Locascio.
With Paravasis, Locascio takes a break from his global tour of his show The Divine Comedy to pay it forward and shine a light on the next generation of promising Greek Australian comedians.
Fresh off their smashing success at the Melbourne Comedy Festival’s 2025 Raw Comedy competition are runners up Mariah Nicholas and Josh Spyro, and Raw Comedy’s 2025 winner Peter Josip. Melbourne favourites Montana Papadinis and Con Coutis will also take the stage.
We think this is one of ‘hidden gems’ of the Festival, so try something different and maybe you will be surprised!

Join us for a special lecture marking 250 years since the birth of Ioannis Kapodistrias, the first Governor of modern Greece.
Presented by the Athenian Association of NSWand Unity in Philia, the event features a discussion by Dr Vassilis Adrahtas (UNSW) exploring Kapodistrias’ vision for Athens as the future capital of the new Greek state.
The evening will also include a curated visual presentation of artworks by Stella Sorotou.
