Sydney, 18 February 2026:  Saturday evenings at Sydney’s favourite new foodie spot are about to get even better. Get ready for a twilight concert series at Sydney Fish Market this February and March.

This is it-Sydneysider’s final chance to experience the incredible New Wave Concert Series at the Sydney Fish Market!!!

This weekend marks the end of the summer series, wrapping up three unforgettable weeks of emerging Australian talent by the water at Blackwattle Bay. It’s set to go out with a bang!

For one night only, audiences can catch the final artists to take to the New Wave stage:

Closing the series is a dynamic fusion of R&B, jazz and indie pop, featuring:

  • Kalena: Soulful R&B-infused vocals with reggae and pop influences.
  • Yasmina Sadiki: Alt-jazz and neo-soul grooves with cinematic, emotive energy.
  • Yorke: Electrifying indie-pop anthems to end the series on a high.

Where: Sydney Fish Market, Blackwattle Bay

When: Saturday 7 March, 5pm-8pm

For three golden-hour Saturdays, the New Wave Concert Series will turn the harbourside hotspot into a sunset stage. Think fresh seafood, cold drinks and live music from 5pm–8pm. Best of all? It’s completely free.

Celebrate the final weeks of summer with live performances from a new wave of emerging Australian talent, including powerhouse rock duo Big Wheels, disco-funk favourites Bread Club and indie pop singer Yorke. There really is something for everyone!

Since opening, Sydney Fish Market has welcomed almost 600,000 visitors in just three weeks. Now, it’s enhancing the after-hours vibe and cementing its place as one of Sydney’s most exciting waterfront hangouts.

Restaurants like Tam Jiak, Hamsi Taverna and The Boat Shed are serving into the late evening, while casual favourites including Cow & The Moon and Get Sashimi are open until early evening too.

That means visitors can grab a takeaway from one of their favourite traders or a drink, before settling in on the waterfront steps to enjoy the live music as the sun sets over Blackwattle Bay.
