Record-breaking 74,000+ Sydneysiders rang in Lunar New Year at Market City and It’s Not Over Yet

Sydney showed up in force for Lunar New Year, with close to 75,000 visitors descending on Market City last weekend for its High Pole Lion Dance performances.
The record-breaking turnout highlights Lunar New Year as one of Sydney’s most-loved cultural celebrations, with audiences gathering to watch lion dancers leap across metal poles up to three metres high in an adrenaline-fuelled performance.
