What’s your favourite SSS@Home Kit?
This time last year, as we prepared for our 2019 festivities, who could have imagined what was just around the corner?!
The SSS Team and I suspended face-to-face classes on Monday 23 March and rolled out our first SSS@Home kit on Friday 3 April – and what an exhilarating roller coaster ride it’s been!
This week we released our 36th kit … our special Christmas and New Year’s Eve kits will be #39 and #40! Some of our guests have been with us almost every week since April … and many others have joined us along the way.
We’ve distributed 14,780 kits, feeding over 30,000 people (as we know they often feed 3)!
SSS@Home is definitely here to stay and we want to start 2021 on a high with a month of ‘Greatest Hits’. We’d like you to help us choose the dishes … tell us what your favourite dishes of 2020 have been and/or kits you missed out on but really want to cook! Was it Alessandro Pavoni’s superb prawn and zucchini risotto (which some called ‘the best risotto ever’)? The simplicity of spaghetti vongole or banana leaf-wrapped BBQ fish with salsa verde? Surely our chilli salt squid is a strong contender or the luscious laksa with bug meat?
