The FIFA World Cup XXIII is almost here, from 11 June to 19 July 2026, Jacksons on George will become the World Cup’s home ground in the CBD. Screening every match live on the jumbo rooftop screen and brand new big screens in the public bar, $1 pint upgrades and a special Ozzi burger, Jackson’s is the undeniable destination for football fans in the city.

Enjoy the Ozzie burger, chef Steven Sinclair’s tribute to the Socceroos. A wagyu patty, fried egg, beetroot, lettuce, BBQ sauce and cheese in a milk bun, served with fries for $27. Available all day, every day of the tournament. Upgrade to Asahi pints for $1 daily and stay hydrated during the match.

Jacksons has also commissioned artist Beni Single, a long-time collaborator, to mark the occasion with a 5m x 4m Jules Rimet trophy mural draped across the George Street facade, featuring a full World Cup group listing inside the public bar. After each round, countries will be crossed off, leaving the victors on for the next round. Images linked here
