The 2022 Bastille Festival is at Customs House and is packed with all things French from July 14th to 17th Bastille Festival a revolutionary celebration of Food, Wine and Art!
Bastille will be transforming Customs House (ABOVE)and surrounding areas into a Free Entry, French Festival, with culinary delicacies, Live music and French Wine from the Thursday 14 th (Quatorze juillet) to Sunday 17th of July 2022.
The spirits of revolution is only as strong as each individual and the Bastille Festival is a celebration of Food, Wine & Art, to indulge in fine French cultural. Utilising the historical Customs House forecourt and Loftus Street the Festival is bringing an array of 56 exhibitors, 9 delectable bars and a énorme amount of local Sydney artist, colourful and awe aspiring dancers providing live entertainment over the fun filled weekend.

We’ve curated a selection of our favourite restaurants, food creations, food fusions by giving everything a unique French fusion twist. There will be more French inspired scrumptious offerings than you can poke a baguette at.
We have the Gnocci Gnocci brothers coming with a unique Creamy mushrooms Gnocchi, Frenchies Bistro is re-creating Christian Constant Michelin star Cassoulet de Montalbanet, Pistou has created a baked camembert with truffle and Fougasse, Meraki Eats famous street food tacos will come as a trio of Duck confit, Lobster thermidor & Cote de Boeuf, Fire pop is bringing a unique food fusion and on the sweet side, Passion Tree Velvet is creating a range of unique French eclairs.
More than 30 recipes created exclusively for the festival, amazing food for food lovers and experience seekers. WINE AND CHEESE FEAST
The French are well known for their delectable contribution to the culinary world, it’s a rich history we are proud to bring to the residents of the big emerald city. When it comes to fine wine, the French are a few champagne pops ahead! Our immersive Wine and Cheese Feast is a masterclass celebration of France’s two most enjoyable pastimes: Eating and drinking. Over 2 hours, a passionate Sommelier will take you on a wonderful journey through France’s finest wine and cheese regions, sharing valuable information, such as: how to taste wine like a pro, how to read a French wine label, the main French wine regions, how to pair wine & cheese, what’s the best temperature to serve different cheeses. In 2019, our Wine and Cheese Feast was a sell out experience, so to avoid missing out, we recommend jumping in quick for this one. Each experience limited to 26 people per session will include:

WINE WALK
This Winter, get your French passport, your branded tasting glass and go exploring France most reputable wines … without the Jetlag. Imagine 8 French wine regions bars representing famous regions such as Champagne in the North,Provence in the South and Alsace in the East. Situated around Customs House; On this journey, you’ll receive priority VIP access to each of the bars located throughout the Bastille Festival, and with experts’ knowledge to taste the eight different premium wines.

The rush on Bastille is a historical celebration of freedom, liberation and unity. If you have been lucky enough to be on the streets of Paris during such an occasion, the 2022 Bastille festival looks to bring the shouts of joy, commandry and colourful expressions of cultural unification to the streets of Sydney. You will find an accordion player tuning the atmosphere, Mauritain dancers frolicking their passistas and the odd mime defying theatrical logic. Our main stage will host an array of French singers, Samba and salsa dancers and covers bands from Sydney’s finest.
