Tasting Notes :

Outstanding French value for the wine enthusiast! This Sauvignon Blanc is quintessential Loie valley style and has medium acidity,…and is crisp and delicate with hints of flowers, pineapple, white stone fruits. It does not however match any of the “over the top” exuberant herbaceous or tropical fruit NZ Sav Blancs,… A versatile food wine that emphasises the Loire Sauvignon Blanc grape with its specific aromatic and varietal flavours.

Pleasant as a gentle aperitif or with delicate fish dishes or smoked fish.

Malbec, made more glorious by Argentina.A truly wonderful wine from renowned French producer François Lurton.

Loaded with dark berry and spice and a mouth-filling richness, it deserves good company and a platter of red meats and cheeses.

 

 

This is the biggest selling Bordeaux red in Australia!
A blend of 60% merlot, 30% cabernet sauvignon and 10% cabernet franc from the Entre-Deux-Mers appellation the wine has the typical flavour profile of the Bordeau generic wines,..with hints of Cassis and Blackfruits,tobacco and a lightly oaked structure and hints of tannin…a good commercial blend and great value.

This wine is made by revered Tuscan winemaker Alberto Antonini who has worked for the big iconic brands such as Frescobaldi,…so he knows how to craft a great Chianti,…in this instance he has delivered the goods for ALDI at an amazingly low price point.
