“I am contacting you, as a proud father, with the hope that you would consider doing a story about my daughter Natalie Saia.Natalie has just turned 24, and will soon (end of May) become the owner of KX Pilates studio in Alexandria. Natalie is an inner-West local – she went to Erskineville Public School and Newtown High School of the Performing Arts. She is a fully qualified Nutritionist with a bachelor degree from Endeavour College; is a qualified Pilates Instructor and qualified  Personal Trainer.”I’ve never met anyone who is so passionate and focused on wellness and well-being. With the importance of being active and living a healthy lifestyle, I feel there could be a nice story to tell about about Natalie, how she has dedicated such a big part of her young life to wellness and how she is looking to continue this ‘heathy’ approach with her clients day in and day out at the Pilates studio, complimenting the work she does with her Nutrition. I am sure you will be very impressed with her knowledge, commitment, dedication to her community and to the healthy living she espouses, which is a ‘feel-good’ and something that everyone should be focused on.”

Post graduating, Natalie established ‘Wellness by Nat’,https://www.nataliesaianutritionist.com.au/ a successful Nutruitonist business focusing on holistic nutrition to optimise health and well-being.

At an age when many are still deciding on a career path, 24-year-old Natalie Saia has already turned a long-held passion into a business of her own.
This month marks a new chapter as she takes over ownership of the KX Pilates studio in Alexandria, Sydney, one of more than 100 studios within the KX Pilates network – making her one of the younger studio owners in the group.
While her age may stand out, her journey into health and wellness has been years in the making. Natalie’s connection to KX Alexandria runs deep. Over the past four years, she has worked as an instructor in the studio, building strong relationships with clients and becoming a familiar face in the local community. Mentored closely by the previous owner, she has developed a clear understanding of what makes the studio work.
“There’s such a strong sense of community here,” Natalie said. “People don’t just come for a workout—they come because they feel supported and part of something consistent. To now step into ownership and continue building that means a lot to me.”
That community is at the heart of KX Alexandria. Backed by an experienced and passionate team of instructors, the studio has built a loyal client base who value both the quality of the workouts and the environment in which they’re delivered. It’s a place where clients feel comfortable, challenged and supported, regardless of where they are in their fitness journey.
Natalie’s interest in wellbeing began in her mid-teens, driven by a curiosity about how movement, nutrition and lifestyle shape both physical and mental health. Rather than follow a traditional academic path, she chose to pursue that passion early.
“I’ve always been drawn to the idea that how you move and fuel your body can completely change how you feel day to day,” she said.
She stepped straight into the industry, qualifying as a personal trainer and pilates instructor while gaining hands-on experience on the studio floor. She later completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree, majoring in nutrition, and went on to launch her own business, Wellness by Nat, an early step that reflects her entrepreneurial mindset and drive to build within the health and wellness space.
“I’ve always believed that true wellbeing is about more than just exercise,” she said. “Nutrition, movement and mindset all play a role.” That same entrepreneurial spirit is now evident in her transition to studio ownership, bringing together her experience across fitness and nutrition under one roof.
That philosophy is reflected in the studio’s evolving offering. Alongside its established reformer classes, KX Alexandria is introducing new class formats and broadening its approach to support clients across all aspects of their health – positioning itself as a one-stop destination for strength, mobility and overall wellbeing.
Importantly, Natalie credits the team behind the studio. “We’ve built an incredible group of instructors,” she said. “They’re experienced, supportive and focused on helping clients get real results, which is why people keep coming back.”
Taking over the studio is both a milestone and a natural progression. As she steps into ownership, Natalie’s focus is clear: maintain the strong community, continue delivering high-quality classes, and ensure every client leaves feeling stronger and more confident.
As KX Alexandria enters this next phase, Natalie is inviting the Alexandria and surrounding communities to experience the studio for themselves and be part of what comes next.
