On the NSW Small Business Month events page you will find over 150 online and face-to-face events covering topics such as staffing, cyber security, entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, intellectual property, sales strategies and so much more.
Here are just some of the amazing events on offer this October:
Ideation – turning ideas into businesses with City of Parramatta (Parramatta, 1 October 11:30am – 2:30pm): During the session, you will explore the entrepreneurial mindset and the foundational skills needed to turn ideas into real businesses. This event will be led by the Australian School of Entrepreneurship.
Small business appointments at Service NSW Centres with Service NSW Business Bureau (Participating Service Centres, Starting 1 October 10:00am – 4:00pm): Each Wednesday this NSW Small Business Month, the Service NSW Business Bureau team will be offering in person appointments at participating service centres. The Service NSW Business Bureau team can provide you with tailored assistance on topics such as accessing government programs and services, complying with regulations and applying for licences and permits. Phone appointments are also available.
Digital manufacturing on a shoestring requirements workshop with the University of New South Wales (Queanbeyan, 2 October 09:30am – 12:30pm): This workshop will outline practical ways SMEs in Regional NSW can reap the benefits of Industry 4.0 through low-cost digitisation of their manufacturing operations.
Festival of flourishing: end-of-week reflection session with TANK – ending burnout (Online, Starting 3 October 4:30pm – 5:15pm): Each Friday during NSW Small Business Month, TANK – ending burnout will be running Friday afternoon wind-down sessions where you can hear from leading experts and participate in a structured reflection session.
