Political Advertising on the Sydney Times during NSW State Election 2023

-The Sydney Times will be accepting Paid Advertising in the from of Media Releases or Publicity from Political Parties or Canditates .

Banner advertising  will also be permitted in tandem with our Google Banner Ads system,.

-Election candidates or Political parties may submit a Media Release on the same basis as any other NSW registered Business, NFP or Government agency or cultural institution.

-Lengthy Policy Statements or advertorials with images that resemble Publicty articles or Branded content will incur charges based on   the prevailing Publicity Tarriff structure described below.

(Whilst the Sydney Times generally carries  Google Ads Banners ,..Candidates or Parties amy enquire and negotiate banner advertising rates based on our general publicity rates)

-Political advertising must comply with all requirements under prevailing Election Law starting with Who ‘authorises’ the publication (or broadcas)t of political matter?

Sydney Times has launched a PR or Media Release Publishing Service for our community and stakeholders on an Admin Fee basis. 

We also provide a Vision service whereby you can have your Video shared on the  Sydney Times You Tube Video Channel.

Sydney Times provides an opportunity to Gazette and Share stakeholder information and news on a credible News and Lifestyle Platform which is a leading source of breaking news, politics, sports, lifestyle, entertainment, and much more for Sydney, New South Wales, Australia and the World.  

A vital function of the Sydney Times is to carry NSW Government News and Media releases, as well as news from Sydney City Council, not to mention Sydney or NSW Stakeholder information. Because of the nature of the Federal system of government ,..We also carry  Federal Government News and media releases and that from Federal agencies, such as the AFP and BorderForce or CSIRO  as examples.

It is part of our Mission statement to  carry press releases from a wide range of Sydney and other NSW stakeholders and Government Agency News but also News from NFPs or indeed from any registered NSW Business or Sydney Stakeholder organization. By providing an  authoritative information platform for the Sydney community,.. We  serving as a reliable and consistent NEWSWIRE 

Sydney Times is conscious of its responsibility to provide a reliable platform for the publication of news and information for the communityhowever we need to cover the expenses involved in publication and consequently we have introduced an Admin Fee System.

Admin Fee System

For this reason, we have developed a Scale of Fees that will apply depending on the complexity and urgency of your posting. 

We are NOT a free news posting site. Sydney or Australian community members or stakeholders who wish to share information on the Sydney Times digital platform can apply to have their publicity or media releases posted on an Admin Fee Basis. 

Government agencies and non-profits:  

If you are part of the press office for a NSW State Department, or the City of Sydney Council, or the Commonwealth Government and its agencies, you may submit news announcements free of charge, provided they are sent from an official e-mail account, and in MS Word format OR  PDF).   

Media releases from cultural institutions: 

You may submit news announcements free of chargebased on a queuing system and prioritized in order of importance by staff of Sydney Times, according to our internal policies and in compliance with our Mission Statement – to broadcast news of interest to the Sydney Times community of readers – who may consider this information or content to be of importance. 

Advertising agencies and media agencies: 

Special Insider Rates For Ad agencies and PR firms , a fee of $100 plus GST per unique announcement with image is payable to publish news on the Sydney Times siteTo order this option, click here. 

Commercially motivated businesses e.g., wineries, restaurants, luxury goods retailers, real estate agents, hotels, etc.all come under our administrative fee system. You can broadcast your announcement, offer, product or service promotion on the Sydney Times digital platform website with payment of an Administrative fee ranging between  AUS $50.00 and  AUS$200.00,.. depending on the complexity of formatting and visual image requirements.

This Admin Fee is charged on a Scale and based on the difficulty and complexity of the posting. An additional social media targeting service using demographic selection may also be negotiated on a fee basis. 

-Small simple Posting/Announcement  Admin Fee  starting at                         $50.00

-Medium length Posting without complexity formatting                              $100.00

-Full size publicity article of 2 or more web pages requiring formatting        $200.00

*Government Department or Agency Advertising or Publicity pursuant to Contract

The Sydney Times accepts Advertising and Public notices or  information sharing Ads from Government Departments or Agencies and also Local government  according to contract. To place Government Notices or advertising please contact us on the following e-mail address.

Media Releases  $100.00 plus GST  (Including Political Election or Commercial Media Releases, Company News etc.,)

These may be accepted from private or public companies or businesses in relation to news or events or Election canditates or Parties during the current NSW Election Campaign

An admin fee of $250 is payable for a two-page media release in the publicity media release categories, visible on the site at the discretion of the Editor. These are normally published within 48 hours of receipt, Monday to Friday 

Urgent requests for publication will attract an additional service fee of AUS$100  

Images or banners may be accepted with the media release by arrangement and at the discretion of the publisher.

Charitable and NFP Organizations  

We will also accept news and media releases from charitable and non-profit organizations.

We have a NOT FOR PROFIT  category for news.

In some instances, the media release may be posted free of charge, depending on its importance to the Sydney Times community of readers. 

Generally, an Admin fee of $75+GST will be levied to cover the cost of publication.

These media releases will be posted within 48 hours of receipt, Monday to Friday.
