Will you help with a Donation to Finance an Independent Media Platform and  keep “the independent and slightly disruptive” Sydney Times digital platform alive !?

There are so many direct cash grants and in-kind contributions for local businesses, community groups and cultural programs made by various levels of Government BUT  Nothing for small independent Digital Publishers that keep the Mainstream on their toes!

Whilst generous Government  funding is made  available to  local businesses to help them recover and grow and breathe new life into Sydney’s cultural and night-time economy-The Sydney Times derives absolutely no benefit from existing funding arrangements!.

The Sydney City Council  supports initiatives that enhance creativity across the city and strengthen the sustainability and capacity of local cultural and creative industries-but certainly doesn’t help  independent media , it  prefers to develop and operate a growing Media platform and website of its own, that incidentally”borrows” a lot of our creative ideas and develops and enhances them with their extravagant “publicly derived ratepayer funding”.

Our objective is to offer an alternative to the Mainstream, media ..because it has become apparent to all and sundry and any balanced observer that much of the establishment right wing media (without mentioning any names or Brands) and their Flunkies are out of control,,they have no boundaries  or commitment  to ethical journalism.

Furthermore We are  convinced that they use Illegal means such as Hacking into private accounts,..websites,,,communications systems to conduct campaigns of commercial  espionage and monitoring of competition.I also believe they use technical disruption strategies,..monitoring of competitors e-mail,..etc.,  and many other illegal practices to maintain their dominance of the Media selandscape. As we saw in the last election campaign ,..when they tried to turn Albo into a fool,..  anything goes in their determination to achieve their conservative right wing objectives,..

The ST  brings you the major “unfiltered” media releases from the NSW Government and the Sydney City Council, and from other major stakeholders in Sydney and NSW. In addition We seek  to ensure a balanced presentation of critical news stories and we have a commitment to fairness in presentation of  news and views,..

In these extraordinary times, the provision of  a viable alternative to mainstream digital media platform has never been more important,..The Sydney Times is here to serve the Sydney and NSW’s communities,.. not to enrich the pockets of a media baron or News organization that essentially promote the dominance of powerful special interest groups who continue to exert an undue influence on the affairs of state.

The Sydney Times editorial independence is  important in terms of our Newswire service.Because no one determines our  agenda or pressures our editor, we can deliver quality, trustworthy News and information ,..As we further develop we planning to provide more fact based  journalism and analysis each and every day. Because We are Free from commercial or political bias and constraints , we can aggregate coverage of Australian  News  & World Events and assist in the process of sharing Sydney and NSW news and announcements on what is effectively a Digital Community Noticeboard.

Your support helps protect the Sydney Times’ independence and as an alternative to the mainstream that is increasingly distrusted by a more critical and more discriminating reading public.

We believe everyone deserves equal access to a News platform to share their Nesand information in a pure unfiltered form.

No matter how unpredictable the future feels with the rising threat of China ,.the Russian attack on the Ukraine and the European Project,. we are determined to  deliver the capacity to present and share high-quality news, by accessing and sharing overseas sources that we can aggregate on this platform , we can all make well informed  decisions about our lives, health, and security – based on fact-not fiction.

Media Releases from the NSW Government  and the Sydney City Council,.. and from other major stakeholders in Sydney and NSW.

We  continue to offer a News & Publicity service for NSW Stakeholders to facilitate the publishing and sharing of major News and Announcements –bringing you the major “unfiltered” Media Releases from the NSW Government  and the Sydney City Council,.. and from other Major Stakeholders in Sydney and NSW.
