There are so many direct cash grants and in-kind contributions for local businesses, community groups and cultural programs made by various levels of Government BUT Nothing for small independent Digital Publishers that keep the Mainstream on their toes!
Whilst generous Government funding is made available to local businesses to help them recover and grow and breathe new life into Sydney’s cultural and night-time economy-The Sydney Times derives absolutely no benefit from existing funding arrangements!.
The Sydney City Council supports initiatives that enhance creativity across the city and strengthen the sustainability and capacity of local cultural and creative industries-but certainly doesn’t help independent media ,..as it prefers to develop and operate a growing Media platform and website of its own, that incidentally”borrows” a lot of our creative ideas and develops and enhances them with their extravagant “publicly derived ratepayer funding”.
Our objective is to offer an alternative to the Mainstream, media ..because it has become apparent to all and sundry and any balanced observer that much of the establishment right wing media (without mentioning any names or Brands) and their Flunkies are out of control,,they have no boundaries or commitment to ethical journalism.
Furthermore We are convinced that they use Illegal means such as Hacking into private accounts,..websites,,,communications systems to conduct campaigns of commercial espionage and monitoring of competition.I also believe they use technical disruption strategies,..monitoring of competitors e-mail,..etc., and many other illegal practices to maintain their dominance of the Media selandscape.As we saw in the last election campaign ,..when they tried to turn Albo into a fool,.. anything goes in their determination to achieve their conservative right wing objectives,..
