Pacific Concepts Restaurants Light Up for Vivid

Pacific Concepts’ casual restaurants are adding plenty of sparkle to Sydney’s dining scene during Vivid, with dazzling set menus, glow-up drinks, neon-lit bars, and spectacular views of the festival illuminations available for diners from Friday, 26 May to Saturday, 17 June.

 

Bar Patrón is one of the most spectacular spots in the city from which to soak up the annual lights display, with breathtaking waterfront views of the Harbour Bridge, Circular Quay and the Light Walk. Guests can dine à la carte, or from a four-course Vivid Set Menu ($49 per person) that is available from 5pm. Tex-Mex temple to all-things neon, El Camino Cantina in The Rocks, is the perfect place to psyche up your Vivid vibe. During the festival, the bar will be blackened out and dressed up with neon and blacklights – the perfect Instagram backdrop. Take advantage of $2 tacos on Tuesdays, 10-cent chicken wings every Wednesday and half-price fajitas on Thursdays. The Bavarian (York Street, World Square and Manly) and Munich Brauhaus in the Rocks will be decked out with special light effects. Glowing 1-litre steins of beer ($15) and Light-Up Shot Trays ($12 per shot) are available throughout the festival. Happy hour is available weekdays from 4pm to 6pm, including $15 1-litre steins, $8 500ml steins. Embrace the winter chills at Munich Brauhaus with expertly made, German-inspired, Jägermeister Mulled Wine ($15), and tuck into hearty German dishes and flavour-packed platters of traditional food. Fratelli Fresh restaurants at Pitt Street and Darling Harbour are in the heart of the action for those looking for an indulgent Italian feast, or a post-Vivid nightcap. Vivid-goers can take advantage of a generous Happy Hour every weekday from 3pm to 6pm, including $7 antipasti, $12 pizzas, $12 cocktails, $10 spritz, and $7 pints of beer and glasses of wine. Book Now.

Winghaus at Gateway and Barangaroo are perfect pit-stops that are smack-bang in the middle of the Vivid action for lip-smacking food. Vivid Light Up Frozen cocktails ($18) are available throughout the festival. Diners can indulge in Wing Hour every weekday from 5pm to 7pm, with 50-cent wings and $5 side dishes such as hot chips, onion rings and mash and gravy.
