Montepulciano, an exclusive offer for our first release plus Tinto’s return

Ravensworth 2019 Montepulciano D’Boorowa.

In it’s home region, Abruzzo, Italy, Montpulciano (D’Abruzzo, get it?) is one of the more opulent Italian varieties. Dark in colour, immense in aromas of blackberries, wood spice, herbs and salami fat, the richness of the palate is balanced with zinging acidity. Surprisingly easy to drink, rustic and full of its own unique character.

We only made a barrel of this wine from nearby Hilltops and it was originally set to be blended away but we were so taken with the potential of this variety, we ended up keeping it separate, loving it and bottling just 25 dozen.

It’s available now in the Quick Pick 6-pack along with our suite of estate wines plus it was included in the very odd Fruitful Pursuit pyjama wine project last week, now we release the balance. First come first served. I’d suggest you get in quick if this rattles your cage.
$38.00 each, Free shipping* if you buy 6 or more

Ravensworth 2019 Tinto

“…not necessarily a fine wine..” says Mike Bennie of Wine Front. “but..” phew  “that’s not the point..’ he goes on to add. 94 Points and a big thumbs up to drinkability and the suggestion that this is a case buy. We found some extra Tinto set for allocation to restaurants, clearly that’s not working so we’ve dragged some back to sell to those isolated and thirsty.
On special for under $25.00 a bottle, grab some, grab a case, you will not regret this purchase.

Tongue & Cheek, explorations in food and life.

Buy a case mixed or straight and I’ll include a copy of my 2017 work of cooking and life skills.Like everyone, the kitchen is absolutely humming at the moment with many preserves, fermentations and pickles cramming the shelves of the fridge and cupboards. If you want to increase you repertoire with such recipes as haggis, deer ragu and goose ham, look no further. From my time as a food influencer, enjoy a copy with every dozen purchased. Usually priced a $45.00

Shipping update.
Shipping wine (and just about everything else) is still going very slowly. Australia Post like many transport companies are absolutley over run with orders and they are taking up to two week longer unfortunately. You will receive an email from me with tracking plus one from Aust Post that’ll alert you to the consignments movement. Check your spam folder if you don’t get either of these.
