As the Nickelodeon Street Parade makes its way around the grounds and into GIANTS Stadium it’s time to take a seat and enjoy the show! Dancers, entertainers, a team of Clydesdales, Xtreme Korruption featuring utes, trophy carts, MotoX and more, ending with a spectacular fireworks finale. It’s quite a sight for your eyes and an earful of sounds to behold as we celebrate the magic and awe of a day at the Show.

The Wimbledon of Woodchop

The Sydney Royal Woodchopping and Sawing Competition is a huge crowd favourite, with stands of enthusiastic spectators cheering on the mighty men and women who take up the axe. The competition, long regarded as the Wimbledon of Woodchop, attracts the best of the best, all eager to prove themselves as the woodchips fly. Don’t miss your chance to take a seat in the specially built MasterChef Woodchop Stadium and watch our competitors vie for the top titles and ultimate bragging rights. The competition starts today and runs for the first 11 days of the Show.

Little Hands on the Land

After welcoming over 28,000 little farmers two years ago, the Paddock has once again been transformed into a pint-sized working farm aimed to teach two to 10 year olds about agriculture from crop-to-shop. Children go on a journey through 10 stations including a chook shed, fruit orchard, sheep shed, veggie patch, cow shed, pony barrel race and an outback tractor pull. Next stop, the farmers’ market where produce collected along the way is traded for farm dollars which can be spent at the final destination – the supermarket.

New Food Precinct

The hawkers on Hawkesbury St offer authentic flavours and easy-to-eat Asian street food with a brilliant blend of authentic, unique, old-school and modern fusion. Follow the lanterns and lights strung from the trees and the aroma of spices to find the Show’s first ever noodle market.

Tickets for this year’s show are strictly limited, so visit the Show website early to secure your ticket and plan your journey – There will be significant additional public transport during the Show with special event busses and direct train services from Central Station to Sydney Olympic Park, bringing you right to the entrance of the Showground.
