This Tuesday I will be sharing the stage with Richmond Dinh – someone who I initially coached on Public Speaking 2 years ago while he was still an optometrist and has since become one of the highest earning coaches in his field in Sydney.
RICHMOND DINH – the Coach of Coaches.
After a very successful seminar for Coaches on Wednesday on how to sell their expertise to turn over $100K in a few short months, Richmond has given us what he would like to talk about on Tuesday night.
TURNING YOUR PASSION INTO PROFIT.
Whether this be a consultant, coach or other business there is a way to take what you love (and what you’re actually good at) to serious profit.
Whether you’re doing it already (as a job, coach, consultant or a business) or looking to start doing that on the side, this talk will be for you.
If there is one powerful failure we could solve that would change the world, it would be to allow people to make a life from what they love. Not just what they can do and got trained in.
Yet most don’t make it. In fact, most never even try forecasting failure and loss of income.
Not only has Richmond made the change himself, but after making his first half million in a short time leaving his Optometry Business he now coaches others how to do it. He has got people earning $125K within 3 months of receiving his coaching focusing on doing what they are passionate about. And these results are not atypical.
Some come and learn what Richmond has to teach us, turning what is right in your soul into something that helps you create a life in the real world.
EXPLAINING WHAT YOU DO AND THEN EVERYONE WANTS WHAT YOU DO
Getting more concrete on the other part of the seminar, I will run a workshop on how you explain what it is you do, so other people suddenly want it, or will refer you to others.
Because you’ve explained it in such a way that you are clearly a master of it (but people also like you because you are real and weren’t showing off).
This could be in:
– On Stage
– On a consultation or interview
Around 2 years ago, Richmond joined my Speaking Club and got coached on his first speech, the first of a series of talks I helped coach him on.
I coached him on explaining to people who he was and what he does in a way which impinged both emotionally and gave him value as an expert.
Within 6 months, Richmond was speaking professionally launching his Coaching business selling out of his his Optometry business.
As mentioned, after hitting his first half a million dollars ($500K) in his coaching business, Richmond has started teaching others how to do it.
His personalised Facebook coaching videos (not cute cat vids which people share) garner tens of thousands of views from interested prospects.
I will show you how easy it is to explain what you do in a way that does not show off, creates conversation and makes it clear you are well above most in that field. In fact, people might not realise they need what you do until you explain it.
