Delve into the smoky, juicy world of barbecue with Lennox Hastie and Chef’s Table with the return of the critically acclaimed and Emmy-nominated Netflix series.
In an episode that turns the concept of what barbecue is on its head, Lennox takes viewers on a remarkable journey through his childhood, his career, and his fascination with fire. Lennox showcases how he draws extraordinary flavors out of meat, fish and vegetables using only a wood fire, a grill and his unique skills. Throughout the episode, Lennox introduces viewers to a number of amazing Australian producers and demonstrates how he pushes the limits of traditional open flame cooking.
We are beyond excited to have been involved in the Chef’s Table BBQ series and hope you love it as much as we do!
Watch it now on Netflix.

Created in collaboration with Raconteur, we are so proud to launch the Firedoor candle. Inspired by the native Australian ingredients used at Firedoor, this candle embodies the warmth and energy of the restaurant.

Fresh juniper, davana and bitter fennel are extended with green violet leaf, while the citrus heart notes from neroli and petitgrain invigorate the senses. Honeyed facets of native kunzea and spicy pimento make way to vibrant sherry-like characteristics from carrot seed, which slowly reveals a base of native buddawood and guaiacwood before being warmed with rich cepes, earthy tobacco and a smoky pairing of choya and vetiver.

In Finding Fire, Lennox Hastie tells the story of how he learnt the language of fire, as well as sharing over 80 recipes that celebrate the instinctive, focused cooking of ingredients at their simple best.
Alongside Lennox’s journey from the UK to the Basque mountains and to Australia, Finding Fire offers an uncompromising historical, cultural and culinary account of what it means to cook with fire. In a world yearning to re-engage with what makes us human, it reveals how it is possible for all of us to embrace this ancient and revered form of cooking.

There’s still time to organise the perfect gift for Dad this weekend!
Lennox has created the ultimate Father’s Day BBQ Box for a special Fireshop tomorrow – think rib-eye steak, pork and leek sausages, lamb cutlets, sweetcorn with smoked butter, Messina Rocky Road gelato, a range of Firedoor sauces, plus lots more.
So gather the troops, head outdoors and enjoy your best family BBQ yet.
