De Iulius Wines-Hunter Valley

The De Iuliis Wines cellar door and boutique Winery provides the visitor with a warm welcome. They will introduce You to their range of wines, from a sparkling Pinot Chardonnay to a fresh Verdelho or a full bodied Shiraz.

Framed by the magnificent Brokenback mountain range, the tasting room is airy and filled with natural light. Stunning artworks adorn the walls and panoramic windows look out onto landscaped gardens set among spotted gums and mallee eucalypts an ideal environment to sample their fine wines.

Visitors are also able to relax over coffee or lunch at Cracked Pepper Restaurant and browse original art by Australian artists in the peaceful ambience of Butterflies Gallery. The more adventurous might like to climb the tower for breathtaking views of the surrounding terrain.

“Very nice experience curated by Liz. Good wine with excellent comparisons. Go for the premium tasting. The wine is very reasonably priced.which in itself is not an issue, but more so that it is only waived when purchasing 2 bottles per person. So for a couple, me and my wife, we would have had to buy 4 bottles to avoid paying the tasting fee, which seems a bit much. We visited a handful of other wineries over the weekend and found that almost all had only a $5 tasting fee, which was refunded with any purchase of even just one bottle, which seems completely fair! “
