BOLT terminate ride-hailing services in Australia, effective from midnight Saturday 28th March

WE SHARE THIS RECENT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM BOLT TO ITS FLEET OF CONTRACT DRIVERS

We regret to inform you that we have decided to terminate our ride-hailing services in Australia, effective from midnight Saturday 28th March.

After almost two and a half years of operating in Australia, we’ve built up a great community of drivers and riders. We know that this decision impacts each member of our cherished community so this has been a very difficult decision to make.

We thank each and every one of you for your support in helping us provide the Bolt service to many riders and we wish you the very best for the future.

Authorisation to drive and removal of Bolt sticker

Effective immediately you are no longer authorised to provide passenger services under the Bolt / Taxify authorisation and are required to remove the Bolt sticker from your vehicle.

Outstanding payments

Any outstanding balance will be processed and made in accordance with current policies and processes. To ensure that you receive payout of all of your balance, the usual minimum balance payout of $20 has been removed.

Driver Portal

To ensure that you have access to the documents in the Driver Portal, your access will remain active.

Thanks for sharing the ride with us. Stay safe out there.
