Harmony and Hope -Feel good Fundraising Concert in Martin Place
-Sydney Street Choir and Aussie Corporates Sing Out to Spread Joy and Tackle Loneliness and Isolation
Sydney 25 August,2025
The Sydney Street Choir-an inclusive and inspiring musical community-supports people experiencing hardship, isolation, and homelessness through friendship, music and performance. On Tuesday 2 September 2025, the Choir is hosting its first annual Sing Out fundraising concert in the heart of Sydney’s CBD.
At a time when loneliness and isolation have become some of Australia’s most pressing public health challenges—affecting one in four people, and hitting hardest those experiencing financial hardship, unemployment, chronic illness, mental health struggles, or the loss of close relationships[1]—the Street Choir’s work has never mattered more.
Aiming to raise $50,000 to continue its vital work, the Sing Out will feature performances by the Street Choir alongside enthusiastic volunteers from some of Australia’s leading businesses and community choirs. Together, they will take the stage at Martin Place to sing songs and tell stories of joy and inspiration.

We’d love for you to join us at the concert where Street Choir members and teams of volunteers will perform together. There will be opportunities to capture content and photos of the choir members and participants performing and the crowd enjoying the concert.
Please let us know if this would be of interest, alongside a chat with the Street Choir’s dedicated musical and social welfare directors, Suze Pratten, Mary Kiani, Dave Richardson and Leonie Oakes, and some of its passionate long-term members.
