This year The Sydney Fair will present its largest and most diverse range of art yet, with over 70 exhibitors bringing together fine art, contemporary works, photography, vintage posters, prints and decorative pieces from across Australia and beyond.

Whether you are an established collector, looking for a statement piece for your home, or simply enjoy discovering new artists and galleries, this year’s fair offers an extraordinary opportunity to explore a remarkable variety of styles, subjects and periods all under one roof.

Since first launching in 2013, The Sydney Fair has grown to become Australia’s largest Antique, Art & Vintage Fair. Returning to Royal Randwick Racecourse from Thursday 28 May to Sunday 31 May 2026, this year’s fair will be our largest ever, featuring more than 70 leading dealers from across Australia.

Discover an extraordinary range of fine jewellery, antiques, vintage fashion, art, furniture, lighting, silver, decorative objects and collectables spanning every era and style. Alongside thousands of pieces available to purchase, visitors can enjoy jewellery talks, fashion parades and special presentations included with entry.

Opening Night Thursday 5pm–9pm. Friday and Saturday 10am–6pm. Sunday 10am–5pm.

Returning exhibitor Lauraine Diggins Fine Art will once again present an exceptional selection of important Australian artworks, continuing a long tradition as one of Australia’s leading fine art galleries.

EYESPY COLLECTIVE
Eyespy Collective returns with a carefully selected mix of art and objects, combining traditional and contemporary styles with a strong decorative focus. Included this year is an impressive large-scale 20th century Australian landscape oil on canvas after Douglas Dundas, rich in atmosphere and scale.

 

PURPLE ZEBRA GALLERY 
Purple Zebra Gallery will showcase a wonderful range of original vintage posters, featuring rare advertising, travel and graphic works spanning the early to mid twentieth century.

ANTIQUE DECORATIVE ART
A beautiful 17th–18th century oil on canvas depicting Saint Cecilia, patron saint of music and musicians, presented by Antique Decorative Art. With provenance from Christie’s London and a private Sydney collection, this atmospheric work is one of many remarkable fine art and decorative pieces to be discovered at The Sydney Fair.

Alongside the exhibitions, visitors can enjoy a vibrant program of fashion parades, jewellery lectures and design talks throughout the fair. Highlights include Valentino – A Parade of Elegance, Pucci & Co – Jet Set Glamour of the 60s & 70s, The Femme Fatales runway presentations, jewellery historian Hayden Peters, Trevor Hancock of Trinity Antiques discussing Australian Colonial jewellery, and talks exploring the history of Art Deco and vintage fashion.

 

SOHO Galleries James Willebrant emerged from the National Art School in 1972 and became known for his expressive, atmospheric paintings. Soho Galleries will present works by Willebrant alongside contemporary art, bold abstraction and sculpture, bringing a fresh and dynamic energy to this year’s Sydney Fair.

 

ARTHUR MAVROS FINE ART
Arthur Mavros Fine Art will present dramatic and atmospheric photography, with works exploring landscape, texture and movement through a contemporary lens. Included this year is Renaissance by Arthur Mavros, a striking photographic work rich in mood, contrast and cinematic atmosphere.

SEBRA PRINTS
Sebra Prints will offer an extensive range of prints and graphic works, making it possible for visitors to discover affordable and highly collectible art across many styles and subjects. Included this year is Champignon – Mushroom, a beautifully detailed 1910 chromolithograph after Aimé Bessin from the celebrated Atlas des champignons de France, Suisse et Belgique.

EVENTS AT THE FAIR

 

THE HIDDEN WORLD OF ART RESTORATION
WITH LAETITIA WOJTASFine art conservator Laetitia Wojtas of @laetitiawojtas_artrestoration will present live art restoration demonstrations at various times throughout the fair.With more than 15 years of experience working with galleries, museums and collectors, Laetitia specialises in the conservation and restoration of fine art. Visitors will have the rare opportunity to watch paintings being carefully cleaned and retouched while learning about the delicate processes involved in preserving historical artworks.Laetitia will also be available to answer questions and offer advice on the care and restoration of damaged paintings — a fascinating insight into a highly specialised world rarely seen outside museum conservation studios.Laetitia can be found on the Eyespy Collective stand.
