If you are in the Hunter Valley this weekend (3rd August)we have your Friday night dinner covered!

A Brokenwood Banquet @Redsalt Restaurant

The Redsalt team are delighted to present our latest wine dinner, in collaboration with Brokenwood Wines. Expertly curated by Chef Adam Frey, enjoy a four-course banquet menu paired perfectly with the tastes of this award-winning vineyard’s six best vintages. Break bread with your fellow discerning diners as chief winemakers from Brokenwood Wines talk you through the history behind their harvest. Chef Adam will also open and conclude the event with a discussion on Hunter Valley produce and the inspiration behind each dish.

Begin your delicious journey with a Sparkling Chardonnay on arrival, followed by an amuse bouché of Kingfish sashimi and yuzu cream accompanied with a 2017 Semillon. The 2009 Oak Creek Semillon is next, and is a delight with our veal carpaccio entreé. Compare tasting notes of the 2012 and 2016 Shiraz as you dine on a beef tenderloin with wild mushrooms, horse radish and baby red chard. End the night on a sweet note with a baked orange polenta and Brokenwood Sticky Wicket.

For the wine lovers, food enthusiasts and merrymakers amongst us, A Brokenwood Banquet is certainly not to be missed.

Meet us at Redsalt Restaurant for a four-course degustation menu designed by Chef Adam Frey. Brokenwood Cellar Door Manager Damien Harrison, will present some of Brokenwood’s latest and greatest release wines.
